Quick Start
- Insert D.N.A VOCALS after cleanup and before broad tone compression if possible.
- Choose the target population that describes the final vocal direction, not the problem.
- Raise Amount slowly; the source remains the starting point.
- Use Freeze when the learned correction is right and you want it to stop chasing performance changes.
Main Controls
- Amount - how far the vocal moves toward the selected target population.
- Speed - how quickly the adaptive solver follows stable spectral changes.
- Freeze - holds the current learned correction.
- Low Edge / High Edge - bound the correction range so useful extremes are protected.
Recommended Workflow
- Set input level cleanly; the analyzer should see a representative performance.
- Avoid maximum Amount first. A subtle correction usually translates better.
- Use Freeze for sections where the balance is correct and the vocal needs consistency.
- If the vocal gets too polished, lower Amount or choose a less bright target.
