A processor for CALM on stage.

Intelligent live audio processor that suppresses feedback, resonance, noise and bleed — while preserving the natural tone and dynamics of the source. Sub-bass optimisation chain. Aligns, tightens and contours the low end so kicks, toms and bass guitars share the room — without fighting it.

/ 01Overview

Built by engineers who mix real shows, not demo loops.

CALM listens to the room in real time. It identifies feedback before it rings, attenuates resonances surgically, and rejects bleed — all without colouring the source. LUST is a chain, not a band. It aligns sub frequencies across sources, controls room build-up, and contours weight where the song asks for it.

  • a.Feedback predictor learns the rig in < 8 seconds.
  • b.Bleed-aware gate keeps the timbre, drops the spill.
  • c.Per-mic profiles. Saved with the show, not the laptop.
  • a.Phase-coherent alignment between kick, sub and bass.
  • b.Adaptive contour reads the venue, not the meter.
  • c.Psychoacoustic harmonics for small PAs that need to feel big.

/ 02How it works

Three stages. One signal path.

01 Listen

Continuous spectral profile Multiband sub analysis

A 4096-point FFT runs alongside the source. CALM identifies build-up before the ear does. LUST measures phase, level and decay across kick, sub, bass and room mics simultaneously.

02 Decide

Surgical, not broad Coherence first

Up to 32 adaptive notches with Q ≥ 64. Wide enough to control, narrow enough to disappear. Time-aligns sub sources at sub-sample resolution, then contours the resulting curve.

03 Deliver

Transparent output Translatable low end

The source still sounds like itself. The room just got 12–28 dB friendlier. From a small club PA to an arena rig, the low end translates the same envelope.

/ 03Features

Six tools for a quieter mix. Six tools for a tighter low end.

f.01

Adaptive notch engine Sub align

32 simultaneous notches that move with the source — never a static EQ. Sub-sample alignment between kick, sub and bass guitar.

f.02

Feedback predictor Adaptive contour

Identifies the next ring 80 ms before it builds. Pre-emptive, not reactive. Reads venue impulse and contours sub weight per song or per cue.

f.03

Bleed reduction Harmonic enhancer

Stage spill suppression optimized for headset, lavalier and backline isolation. Generates psychoacoustic harmonics so small PAs feel big.

f.04

Tone preservation Per-venue presets

Spectral-aware processing that keeps formants intact even at high reduction. Save profiles per venue. Recall on arrival, fine-tune in 30 seconds.

f.05

Zero-latency mode Phase coherence

Hardware-grade DSP path with no look-ahead. Ready for in-ear monitor mixes. Maintains phase coherence between sub elements at any crossover point.

f.06

Vocal Chain True Peak Limiter

Unified secondary finishing deck featuring Expanse, Clean EQ, DNS, and Glue bus compression. 4x oversampled brickwall protection with 5ms lookahead and linear phase.

/ 07FAQ

Things engineers ask.

Does it colour the source?

No. CALM uses spectral-aware processing that targets only the offending energy. At high reduction levels you may notice the room calming down — never the source. LUST is additive only where it should be. The unprocessed signal is always available on a parallel return for transparent blends.

Can I run it on in-ear monitor mixes?

Yes. The zero-look path runs at 0.4 ms latency. We recommend instancing on the wedge or IEM bus, not the input strip.

Will it work on broadcast and corporate gigs?

Absolutely. Every Fluge corporate, conference and broadcast rig has Everworks instances on lectern mics, lavs and stage mics. The transparency of the processing is exactly the reason.

How is it licensed?

Yes. Register free to unlock the download. No payment, no subscription, no watermark.

How can I help improve it?

Run it on real shows, tell us what works, report edge cases and suggest new modules. That is the exchange: free access for useful real-world feedback.
