THE EQUALIZER

Quick Start

1. Select Realtime for a true zero-sample path while tracking or working live.
2. Create a band on the analyzer and choose its filter type, frequency, gain and Q.
3. Target Stereo, Mid, Side, Left, Right, Transient or Tonal material before adding advanced processing.
4. Enable only the module you need, then use its Delta control to hear the change in isolation.

Per-Band Modules

• Static - the base EQ shape, available independently of every advanced module.
• Dynamics - moves the complete band from its envelope and threshold behavior.
• Spectral - controls finer resonances inside the selected frequency region.
• Ride - follows a detected pitch or MIDI target while keeping the band constrained.
• Harmonics - builds an editable musical series from a selected root frequency.
• Color - adds focused saturation or excitation only around the selected band.

Processing Modes

• Realtime - reports 0 samples and uses the fixed causal processing path.
• Minimum Phase - enables transported quality settings with a small latency budget.
• Linear Phase - preserves phase relationships when latency is acceptable.
• Quality is unavailable when a mode cannot use it, avoiding controls that do not change the result.

Delta Workflow

1. Use Band Solo to monitor the selected frequency region.
2. Use module Delta to hear only the processing contributed by Dynamics, Spectral, Harmonics or Color.
3. Level-match before judging stronger Color and Harmonics settings.
4. Return Delta to off before saving the preset or comparing A/B states.
