SCOPE keeps offline evidence, live acquisition and matched comparison inside one application. Routing, captures and display choices stay explicit so the engineer can see what is measured, what is predicted and what still needs verification.

FILE

Inspect loudness, peaks, dynamics, waveform, spectrum and spectrogram from an audio file without entering the live engine.

Choose independent input and output devices, route measurement and reference channels, run the generator and keep every live diagnostic on one shared snapshot.

Compare A and B with level matching, spectral delta and the metrics needed to separate tonal change from a simple gain difference.

FILE / AUDIO EVIDENCE

A complete offline read before the live decision.

Integrated loudness, sample and true peak, RMS, dynamic range, PLR, LRA and correlation sit above a synchronized waveform, high-resolution spectrum and spectrogram.

Every view reads the shared live state. Opening another graph does not create a second capture engine or a second version of the measurement.

ENGINEERING DETAIL

Controls that map to measurement decisions.

Display resolution never rewrites the native analysis bins. Captures preserve their measurement data while colour, visibility, smoothing, offset and layout remain presentation choices.

Spectrum / RTA

  • True fractional-octave power integration: 1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/6, 1/12, 1/24 and 1/48 octave, plus unsmoothed.
  • Independent Measurement and Reference routing, mono/stereo analysis, captures, colours and cursor data.
  • Music Target reads Reference; System Target reads Measurement.

Transfer / Timing

  • Current MTW and Fixed FFT, with Polar or Complex magnitude and averaging depth 1–10 or Infinite.
  • Magnitude, phase, coherence, Live IR and embedded Spectrum; logarithmic or linear views and stored zoom presets.
  • Advanced Delay Finder windows from 16K to 128K, tracking, manual MTR and signed delta from the previous find.

Room / Risk

  • Coherent sweeps, multi-position captures, response and real decay waterfall.
  • RT and clarity evidence, including C50, C80 and an explicitly labelled indirect STI estimate.
  • Resonance and feedback analysis share frequency, Q, persistence and trend evidence.

Calibration / Deployment

  • 94 dB, 114 dB or custom acoustic calibration, plus per-input microphone correction files.
  • Portable EQ preset export and recipes constrained to ten common live-console output EQ profiles.
  • System Alignment distinguishes delay/polarity-only matrices from processors that can deploy one AP2 section.

Available for field testing, still under validation.

SCOPE ULTRA is still an engineering build. Automated numerical, multirate and stability tests are part of every release candidate, but they do not replace physical loopback, calibrated SPL or PA verification.

The notarized macOS installer and the Windows setup and portable builds are available through the Download Center. System Alignment remains advisory: enter the proposed change in the external processor and confirm it with a new measurement.
